Four of the Best Bar Mitzvah Venues

It’s the traditions of a Bar Mitzvah that separate the steps of a boy from those of a young man, and while there are many venues and banquet halls throughout London you can have your celebration in, certain of them will add more to your celebration than others. It’s just this sort of venue we’ve had in mind when choosing from our selection of reception sites and and event locations. If you want your boy to become a man in the true tradition, while letting him take those first steps in the company of loved family and friends, then worrying over the choice of catering, entertainment, and staff will be the least of your concerns. That’s why we’ve made it our concern, and are pleased to present this selection of exceptional Bar Mitzvah venues for your perusal.

Underglobe

UnderglobeA study in Shakespearean delight that’s mixed with the echoes and histories of a London long since passed to the pages of history, the Underglobe offers a unique event venue in which a boy can cross the threshold of manhood accompanied by those he holds most dear. His entrance will be from the lovely riverside gates and private mezzanine, where he can peruse the exhibition of Shakespeare that’s on display before descending into the great halls of the Underglobe, tucked beneath the Globe Theatre above. At more than 4,300 square feet of space, he’ll have plenty of room to stretch his new legs as he celebrates, and when it’s done, a number of tube stations await, carrying guests and friends home while welcoming him to the world of men.

Old Billingsgate

Old BillingsgateThe Old billingsgate is one of the most impressive spaces in all of London, with triple height ceilings, a suspended mezzanine level, and towering iron pillars throughout. In terms of a manly space, there are few that compare, and of those there are only equals, with none surpassing the majesty of this amazing event venue.  Additionally, there’s an impressive 858 square meter terrace that looks out on the river Thames. While the space is enormous, accommodating up to 2,400 guests over more than 6,000 square meters, it can be tailored to suit the needs of your event, allowing for smaller numbers of guests, or letting you use the entire space. As it’s just steps from both Monument and London Bridge stations, there’s no worry for transportation for your guests as they travel home from this amazing space.

RIBA Venues

RIBA VenuesWhile the RIBA Venues are perhaps best known as London’s premier conference and corporate venue location, they are in fact utilized for a range of celebrations and events across all themes and types and gatherings. The celebration of your young boy taking his first steps as a man at his Bar Mitzvah is perhaps one of the best examples of this, with the space hosting up to 1,160 guests across more than 90,000 square feet of richly appointed space. There is ample room for him and you to view London from the panoramic views offered by the rooms on the top floors, and whether it’s a winter or summer event, he’ll be welcomed into manhood here by you and those he loves most. As it’s easily accessible from the Regent’s Park and Great Portland Street tube links, there’s also no need to worry over transportation for guests.
