Best meeting venues in City of London

The City of London is a real hub of business activity, and as such, there are lots of fantastic meeting spaces to be found. To make your search a little easier, we’ve highlighted some of the very best – and less obvious – choices below.

Neo Barbican

Neo Barbican is one of the city’s newest offerings on the events scene but it has already played host to gatherings for various London-based firms. The beautifully designed interior has been fashioned out of imported quartz in a rugged finish that adds loads of character and atmosphere to the space. It has a flexible layout, plenty of in-house extras and a capacity of 150. Being just seconds from Barbican tube station, it’s also well connected to the rest of London.

The London Capital Club

There are six different rooms which you can choose from at The London Capital Club, all of which have been finished to a very high standard, with elegant and traditional details throughout. Able to host meetings for anywhere between 4 and 140 people, it’s certainly versatile in that respect, and with Cannon Street, Bank and Monument stations all no more than a few minutes away, it also couldn’t be easier to reach from both inside London and further afield.

Painters’ Hall

Painters’ Hall is another offering with several different rooms which you can utilise; this time three of them, to be precise. This once again means it is very flexible in its use, with exclusive hire of the whole venue allowing for as any as 250 guests to attend should you be planning something a little larger in scale. Mansion House tube station is just two minutes away, with Bank, Cannon Street and Blackfriars all also within easy reach.

The Barbican

The Barbican has no less than 19 different spaces all under one roof, both big and small alike, making it arguably even more adaptable when it comes to the configuration and scale of your event. The total capacity adds up to not far off a whopping 2000, giving you an indication as to just how generously proportioned some of the aforementioned spaces really are. As such, it’s clear to see why the venue is often considered the beating heart of the City of London.

Brand Exchange

Brand Exchange is a members’ club housed within a historic, Grade II listed building that still retains plenty of character and period features. These touches contrast to great effect with the decidedly more modern décor and facilities, combining to create a space that is both practical as a corporate meeting venue and aesthetically pleasing. The various areas at your disposal include The Gallery, The Loft, The Orangery and The Members Lounge, with onsite AV equipment and IT support available upon request.
