Cool corporate networking venues in London

To get maximum success out of a networking event, you want guests to feel comfortable and at ease. One of the key ways to achieve this is to host the event itself in a suitably cool and welcoming setting, meaning people’s guard will be down from the moment they arrive.

Steam & Rye

Steam & Rye is a relative newcomer to the London events scene, having opened to the public in 2013, but it quickly garnered a solid reputation amongst locals as a friendly venue with all manner of fantastic features worth checking out, from their famous unlimited ribs and shrimp night to their delicious selection of cocktails, and from a genuine Rodeo Bull to live music, DJs and dancers.

HKK

HKK offers a unique Chinese fine dining experience, perfect for more intimate gatherings between smaller groups of people. Up to 60 can be seated in the main restaurant, with groups of up to 14 able to hire out the private dining room. Alternatively, if you would prefer a less formal approach and a slightly larger guest list, exclusive standing canape receptions can be put on for up to 100 people. Great for those who enjoy a modern aesthetic, the interior is slick, contemporary and super stylish.

La Galleria Pall Mall

La Galleria Pall Mall boasts bright, spacious and neutral white gallery space with high ceilings. This makes it a popular blank canvas style venue for pop-up events and exhibitions as well as corporate occasions. Hire includes access to superfast broadband, as well as 24/7 security and flexible hours, including at weekends. On the lower-ground level, there is also a small kitchen and some storage space which you are welcome to use if need be.

City Zebrano

City Zebrano is a chic cocktail lounge found close to the Gherkin that plays host to a wide range of different event types. The in-house events team will walk you through the entire planning process to minimise stress on your part, and having been shortlisted at the Restaurant and Bar Design Awards in 2016, you know you’re in good hands. The total capacity is a generous 400, and the nearest tube stations include the likes of Aldgate East and Liverpool Street.

Elgin

The first-floor event space at Elgin is brimming with characterful touches, including exposed brickwork and huge windows which also serve to let in lots of natural light. This particular space can accommodate up to 100 people, though for larger scale events you can combine it with the main bar area, effectively doubling the capacity. Found in the Maida Vale area, the building is within stumbling distance of the tube station of the same name.

The World’s End Market

It’s the food that is the star of the show at The World’s End Market, so if you want to lay on the best of the best in hearty, healthy fare for your guests, this could well be the venue for you. Sourcing top quality local ingredients wherever possible, the meat, fish and poultry is all grill-seared to lock in maximum natural flavour, whilst also reducing unnecessary added fat. The venue itself has a laid-back yet warm vibe that is ideally suited to a networking occasion.
