If you’re in search of a cool space in which to hold a yoga class on either an individual or rolling basis, we’ve got you covered. With a style to suit everyone, we hope the following selection will contain a space that is just what you’ve been looking for.
Orphan’s Yard is a relaxed yet creative space, an ethos and approach that sits in great synchronicity with the whole concept of yoga. Quality AV equipment and technical support are available inhouse, should you have any requirements with regards to the likes of music or lighting, and there’s a professionally equipped kitchen should you wish to organise refreshments for afterwards. The capacity allows for up to 120 guests and the nearest tube stop can be reached in around 5 minutes.
Turning disused land into a creative space for local, independent businesses, Pop Brixton has become home to more than 50 start-ups from all different sectors, including restaurants, bars, retail boutiques and even a radio station – so it’s certainly a versatile offering. Though there are various different areas at your disposal, the main event space is Pop Box, which was built from old shipping containers and boasts triple height ceilings. Opening out onto The Main Square, it can function as both an indoor and outdoor space, depending on the weather and the vibe you wanted to create.
Loft Studios is a premier studio complex found in Kensal Green, West London, not far from the station of the same name. Priding themselves on their flexibility, they can turn their hand to practically any occasion, with features in the main studio such as wooden flooring, natural brickwork, high ceilings with exposed beams, and large windows and skylights which let in an abundance of natural light; all combining to make for a charming atmosphere and a venue rich in character.
Green Rooms is the UK’s first social enterprise arts hotel, which offers up both accommodation and multi-purpose event space. The building’s original Art Deco features have been uncovered, granting it a timeless beauty and an air of grandeur, with the wood floors, mosaic staircases and gorgeous decorative skylight all having been lovingly restored to their former glory. Located in Wood Green, you can get back to the city centre in just 20 minutes.
Full-length, street-view windows flood the interior of Hello Love with lots of natural light, emphasising the bright, airy and modern feel throughout this multi-use, Bloomsbury based studio. Though there are funky finishing touches to help bring a bit of fun to the space, the walls are white and the space has an otherwise neutral look, keeping it something of a blank canvas which could be well suited to the relaxed vibe suited to yoga, but also adding to the adaptability of the venue which can, in total, take up to 160 guests.
