If you want to hold your 2016 corporate Christmas party in one of the best venues London has to offer, then you’ll want to get in ahead of the crowd and make a booking soon. We’ve helped you on your way by hand-picking a few of our favourites and featuring them here.
Toms Kitchen takes its name from award winning chef, Tom Aikens, as it is his delicious seasonal food – a blend of classic British flavours with Italian, French and American influences – that you can expect to dine on here. Located within a beautiful townhouse, there are 3 reception spaces in all that you can choose from, offering capacities of 35, 60 or 100, depending on how intimate or otherwise you wanted the event to be. Each of these spaces has its own distinct features and appeal, from a private bar in one to an open kitchen with a wood smoked oven in another.
28 West is another flexible offering when it comes to the scale of the party you had in mind, with the option of table bookings, large parties and even exclusive hire on offer. Found in East London, it sits in the heart of Canary Wharf – just a 10 minute walk from the tube station of the same name – and is a stylish lounge bar with a laid-back, fun atmosphere and plenty of charm when it comes to the interior, with exposed brickwork, comfortable sofa seating and arcade style games to keep you entertained. The venue also benefits from being close to the waterfront, with lovely views out across the Thames.
The Jam Tree is a very spacious venue with several different areas which you can utilise accordingly, be it for private dining or a more intimate gathering over a few drinks and good conversation. There is even a good sized garden with plenty of seating if you happen to catch some nice weather or simply like having the option to step out for some fresh air. Altogether, there is a very generous maximum capacity of around 600, and with good local transport links such as Clapham Common and Wandsworth Road in the area, they needn’t struggle to reach the party.
Ognisko is found within a grand Victorian building, and from the moment you arrive and ascend the imposing staircase that leads to the fabulous ballroom, you know you are in a top quality venue. Surviving ornate details are perfectly in-keeping with the glamour of the building’s heritage and bring an instant feeling of sophistication to any occasion, whilst the floor-to-ceiling windows flood the space with lots of natural light, ensuring it feels bright and airy. This little slice of luxury can accommodate up to 180 guests at a reception, and the nearest transport options at their disposal are South Kensington and Knightsbridge.
23 Orchard Street is a multi-level venue that comes complete with retractable roof terraces and removable windows, meaning the outdoor spaces can be enjoyed all year round, no matter the weather. These terraces boast great views of the Central London skyline, courtesy of the venue’s enviable Mayfair location. This versatile offering, with its bright feel and bold styling can hold up to 130 guests and has a late licence in place until 3am, so the festivities can last well into the wee small hours. As for getting there, both Bond Street and Marble Arch stations can be reached in just over 5 minutes.
