When hosting any kind of corporate event, making a good impression is key. That’s why choosing the right venue is so important, as it sets the tone for the evening ahead. With that in mind, here are some Central London venues that we think are well worth considering for your next corporate dinner party.
The vast open layout at the Royal Horticultural Halls means that you can kit out the space to suit your own specifications, with the maximum capacity allowing for as many as 700 guests to attend. The building itself encapsulates the elegance of the Edwardian era with period features and touches of understated beauty throughout. The generous ceiling height keeps things feeling light and airy, even when the space is packed full with people, whilst the close proximity to Victoria station means it’s easily reached, even from out with the city.
Delicious menus and top quality service in a prime location make Six Storeys on Soho a natural choice for a dinner party, but the uniqueness and charm of the surroundings make it even better. There are, as the name would suggest, 6 floors at your disposal here, each of which has been exquisitely designed to blend elements of both quirkiness and sophistication. These floors are all available for private hire, with the venue offering a capacity of 300 in all.
Clerkenwell & Social has been designed along a literary theme, with eclectic touches that include books suspended from the ceiling. A number of hiring options are available across the 2 floors of space (which also includes an outdoor terrace), where you can expect to enjoy the winning combination of hand-crafted pizzas and house-infused cocktails. Found in St John Square, the nearest transport links include the likes of Farringdon and Old Street stations.
The richly atmospheric, wonderfully historic and charmingly cobble-stoned private dining rooms at Bleeding Heart Yard have been welcoming guests for more than 30 years now, meaning they know a thing or two about showing people a good time. The adjoining medieval crypt is perfect for private functions for anywhere between 50 and 120 guests. In terms of getting there, both Farringdon and Chancery Lane tube stations can be reached in mere minutes.
The largest restaurant and cocktail bar in Vivek Singh’s popular Cinnamon range, Cinnamon Bazaar can be found in the much-coveted area of Covent Garden, within comfortable walking distance of Leicester Square, Charing Cross and Embankment stations. If you want to be part of the bustle you can opt to dine in the main restaurant, but for something a little more intimate, there is a private room which can accommodate between 12 and 30 guests, ideal if you wanted to host your dinner using a more personal approach.
