If you are organising a training event in London and are still in search of the perfect venue to host it, then fear not. We’ve compiled the following list of fantastic options for you to choose from.
What sets The Foundling Museum apart from other venues is its wonderful and seamless blend of old and new, with a mix of historic interiors, complete with period features and striking visuals, alongside highly contemporary and functional meeting and exhibition spaces. The building itself is a Grade II listed Georgian style venue, but it’s the purpose built Creative Studio that will be most suitable for a training event, and with plenty of options when it comes to transport links in the surrounding area, your guests needn’t worry about travelling from across London.
As the name no doubt implies, this building began its life as The Westminster County Courts, but in 1996, was given a whole new lease of life when it was converted into a bar and restaurant, complete with a whole range of different rooms and event spaces, making this a practical and multi-purpose venue that still retains the charm and grandeur of its past. Available for hire for just about any occasion, it can easily lend itself to both private and corporate gatherings, and being just a stone’s throw from Leicester Square tube station, it’s easily reached from throughout the city.
RIBA Venues is another hugely diverse option, able to accommodate any style of event with ease. This is largely due to its various spaces, vast maximum capacity of 400, and stylish, contemporary finish throughout with a real attention to detail. One of its best features is undoubtedly the inclusion of not 1 but 3 roof terraces, with all of the rooms on the top floor providing access to them. Regent’s Park and Great Portland Street tube stations are the nearest transport links, each found around 5 minutes away on foot; handy should you or any of your guests require to travel from further afield.
Foyles is one of London’s best known book stores, but what you may not know is that above it, one the 6th floor of the building, lies one of its best event spaces as well. Simply called Level 6 Soho, this venue is a bright and modern, yet welcoming blank canvas, allowing you to put your own stamp on proceedings, whilst also making the most of delicious bespoke menus courtesy of the in-house catering team, Leafi. Being centrally located, Level 6 Soho also benefits from close proximity to a whole plethora of nearby tube stations, including Tottenham Court Road, Covent Garden and Leicester Square.
