London is filled with corporate event venues, offering locations across the city where cool party themes or funky entertainment ideas can be brought to life. However, because there are so many event locations around London’s many districts, it can sometimes be difficult to choose the best place to host your party. There are considerations of a venue’s size, noise restrictions, and even particular themes that might not be suited to all occasions. To help simplify the planning of your next corporate event, we’ve gone through each venue on our lists and chosen five of the largest and most accommodating spaces in town.
Gilgamesh London has no less than 5 different event spaces available for hire, and these can be used to hold gatherings from anywhere as intimate as just 20 guests right up to a whopping 500, making it one of the city’s most flexible choices. The team will work alongside you to create the right setting for your particular event and to make sure everything runs smoothly when the day comes. The actual design of the interior itself is likely to take your breath away, with beautiful, decorative details and wonderful, unique finishes no matter where you look.
The largest private event space in London proper, fabric (intentionally spelled with a small leading letter) is unlike anything else in town. It’s a venue covering about 25,000 square feet of refurbished space that’s been restored and decorated in classic Grand Victorian styles and themes. There are 60 foot vaulted arches towering above guest areas, with atriums set against large and lovely sets of exposed brickwork. As there are a total of five bars, two lounge areas, two stages, and three dance floors there’s no shortage of things to do here. A great choice for any corporate party, celebration, or event, fabric will take care of your every need and leave you wanting for more when it’s done. Five minutes walk from Farringdon, it’s an easily accessible and unique space that you won’t want to miss seeing.
A particularly unique and cool venue, the Egg London, or the Egg LDN as it’s called for short, is a well known space in Kings Cross where a wide range of corporate parties can be held. Everything from corporate Christmas parties to summer and themed events can be easily accommodated in the more than 5,500 square feet of space to be found here, and it comfortably hosts up to 1,400 guests. There are four rooms total, complimented by four lovely outdoor spaces, and an on-site kitchen where all manner of delights can be prepared. It’s also a great space for awards ceremonies, dinner parties, fashion shows, live gigs, product launches, team building events, and more. Just 15 minutes from Caledonian Road or Kings Cross St. Pancras, it’s easy to reach with public transport, but also readily accessible for those driving themselves or carpooling.
One of our favourite venues in all of London, MODE is decorated in a new theme know as ‘Future Vintage’. While difficult to describe, it’s something of an old school industrial revolution sort of theme, boasting a large old dogfighter plane hanging from the ceiling, with an upper level mezzanine looking out and down on everything. There is hardwood throughout, with dark and mid-toned wood themes used for the furnishings and floorings. Corporate events are a huge success here as there’s plenty of space to mingle, with up to 650 guests well cared for, yet it’s got private areas that allow for groups of friends or team mates to share more intimate discussions and camaraderie. A well loved part of Notting Hill’s rich history and culture, it’s only steps from Portobello Road and easily accessible from Ladbroke Grove and Westbourne Park stations at just five minutes walk.
Despite the marvels of the modern world, Africa remains a place the few in London really know that much about. The Shaka Zulu venue changes that, as it’s the largest South African restaurant in the city, and was blessed by HRH Goodwill Zwelithini, the Zulu King. It weighs in at an impressively massive 27,000 square feet, covering two separate floors, and is located at Camden, in The Stables Market. There’s a bar, club, and restaurant where guests will be served a range of amazing ethnic foods – or more spartan fare for those who aren’t as adventurous, plus any sorts of drink you’d like. There’s always live music which can be hired to suit, and of course plenty of dancing, which we all know makes for the best corporate fun that can be had. Just about five minutes walk from either Camden Road or Camden Town stations, it’s easy to reach and easy to find.
