Found on the wildly popular Kingsland Road, Rolling Stock is a bar, gallery, beer garden and underground dance space that is a hive of creative energy and excitement in trendy East London. Known for its DJ nights, there is always great music playing to get you in the party spirit, and the top selection of craft beers, wine and cocktails should also help with that. With a strong connection to art, you can enjoy the cutting-edge work carried in the gallery or step out into the beer garden where striking murals adorn the walls. The nearest transport options for this venue include Hoxton, Old Street and Shoreditch High Street.
The Arch Collective is a small venue with loads of character and charm that’s tucked away in South London Bermondsey. Both in and out you’ll find an abundance of modern style that’s brightly lit and and absolutely modern. It’s the ideal place to have a barbecue for a small group of friends, with room for up to 70 guests in a generously proportioned 925 square feet of space both in and out. With in place BBQ facilities, all you have to do is put together a menu that will tempt and delight guests, and then convince them to show up with additional beverages.
At 25,000 square feet inclusive of all outside and indoor areas, Swan Wharf is more of an invitation only summer barbecue event location than anything else. You can fit almost 3,000 guests here, and will be treated to a massive building that’s split into two unique and fully functional event spaces. The second floor consists of a classic warehouse style venue with high ceilings, waterfront views, and exposed brickwork throughout. Meanwhile, the lower area offers a bistro, and the in place Cygnet bar. It is fully fitted with modern kitchen and facilities, also offering private access. You can quite literally run your own restaurant from here, which is exactly the idea of a summer BBQ. As it’s close to both Hackney Wick and Stratford stations, there are numerous transport options available.
One of London’s best rooftops, No. 4 Hamilton Place is conveniently situated in Mayfair, and provides enough room for you to invite up to 300 guests to your barbecue. However, if you’ve got something smaller in mind, there are a number of more private areas that can also be arranged, meaning you’ll be able to dine in style and privacy while still enjoying the fruits of your work at the BBQ. The rooftop features comfortable seating and panoramic views of the surrounding city, while the interior areas are classic period, with their Edwardian dining room being the most well known of those available. It’s also easily accessible from either of the Hyde Park Corner or Green Park tube stations.
