With summer fast approaching, it’s the perfect opportunity to organise a corporate party for you and your colleagues so you can get out of the office, celebrate everyone’s hard work and focus on cementing those strong working relationships that will be vital moving forward. With all that in mind, CRATE Brewery is the ideal place to unwind and leave the stresses of work behind, and with so many options when it comes to spaces and venues on offer here, you’d be crazy to overlook it.
Mick’s Garage is found right across the yard from the brewery’s tap room. As such, you can expect to find all of CRATE’s core range being served in Jarr Bar, as well as house brewed kombucha. At Mick’s Garage you will also find a coffee roaster and a market BBQ known as SHUK SHUK, making this the perfect setting for a laid-back gathering over good food and drinks. Open across the weekend, starting with Friday evenings, there is a very generous capacity of 1000 here, so you needn’t worry about anyone being left off the invite list. Given that the venue is just a stone’s throw from Hackney Wick station, it’s also easily reached from throughout the city.
A cocktail bar it may be but Alfred Leroy is certainly unlike any other you are likely to find anytime soon. Named after a pub landlord back in the 1970s, Alfred is found within a wide beam canal boat which has been fully converted into a bar complete with tables, seating and even an integrated sound system. Perfect for intimate gatherings with a twist, the venue is able to accommodate up to 50 guests, who can choose from a selection of fantastic Jarr kombucha cocktails, CRATE beers, wines and prosecco, as well as tasty sharing platters which include Neal’s Yard Dairy cheeses.
