Step 1 in planning almost any event is choosing the right venue. This is never more so the case than with a press event, when setting the scene and making a good impression is absolutely key.
47/49 Tanner Street is a former Victorian Warehouse that now serves as a multi-purpose event space, frequently utilised as a backdrop for film and photography projects, as well as a private function space. The exposed brick walls and industrial features hark back to the building’s past and establish a great sense of atmosphere. There are 3 floors available in all, 2 with capacities of 120 and the other able to accommodate a more generous 240 guests at a time. London Bridge train and tube stations can be comfortably reached on foot in less than 10 minutes.
Also close to London Bridge stations – this time just 5 minutes away – is The Underdog Gallery, a flexible event space close to Bermondsey Street. Already licenced and coming complete with their own fully-stocked bar and catering facilities, organising refreshments for your guests certainly should not be a problem. There is a PA/sound system on-site which you can utilise should you require it within your presentation. There is also the ability to host live music, should you wish to have entertainment to keep the event feeling fun and engaging.
Situated in an enviable location in the centre of London, between Waterloo and London Bridge, is Lumiere London, a fully-equipped studio space. With 2 rooms, each 2000 square feet in size, with high ceilings and generous windows letting in plenty of natural light, this venue boasts a bright, spacious and contemporary feel throughout. Hire includes a sound system, projector and microphone, which are sure to come in handy at a press event, as will the experienced in-house team, well versed in the successful running of various different event types.
The Venue itself at OXO2 is stunning, as are the glorious panoramic views across the River Thames and the city beyond, sure to impress both Londoners and visitors to the city alike. The contemporary vibe and style of this venue allows it to lend itself to all sorts of different occasions with ease, and the event managers will happily work with you at every step of the process to ensure that things run as smoothly as possible. Its fabulous location means it also benefits from being a maximum of 8 minutes away from no less than 4 stations (one train and 3 underground).
Just a few minutes from Vauxhall train and tube stations, as well as a 24-hour bus station, Vauxhall Arches is fantastically well connected to the rest of London and beyond. The venue itself is a collection of 10 railway arches close to the banks of the River Thames that have been converted into a series of 3 rooms – Fire, Lightbox and Protocol. Each has its own size and feel, and they can either be hired separately or all-in-one for a large scale event for up to 1400 people. With ample space and a solid reputation as one of the city’s best clubbing venues, this makes a wonderful alternative choice for a press event.
