Undiscovered London fashion week venues

London is one of the fashion capitals of the world, and as such, it is never more alive than during Fashion Week. From catwalks to showcases of new designs, and from photoshoots to after parties, the whole city becomes a hub for the very best names within the industry, as well as those looking to be the next big thing. With all that said, here are some of the best lesser known venues that are ideal for hosting an event during this world famous celebration of everything fashion.

Zig Zag Building

Zig Zag Building

Zig Zag building is one of the city’s newest offerings, found on the 6th floor of a contemporary new build in the Westminster area of Central London. This stunningly modern vacant space would make for a truly striking backdrop, with the simple white finish and clever take on traditional architectural touches combining to form a space that feels slick and professional, helping to give your event that extra edge of exclusivity and glamour. Bright and airy with lots of natural light courtesy of floor-to-ceiling windows, the building itself sits just 5 minutes from Victoria station, making it easy for your guests to reach you from far and wide.

One New Ludgate

One New Ludgate

One New Ludgate is another relative newcomer to London’s exciting events scene, boasting several floors of large open space that can be adapted to suit a multitude of needs and styles, which is why it lends itself so ideally to Fashion Week. The full length windows not only flood the interior with lots of natural light but also allow you to soak up the gorgeous views of the city, including a wonderful perspective of St Paul’s Cathedral. This enviable location in the heart of the city and close to the waterfront means you can make good use of excellent local transport links, including City Thameslink, Blackfriars and Mansion House.

Behind the Lights

Behind the Lights

For a setting that feels much more immersive, Behind the Lights is certainly well worth considering. Finished in a raw, stripped back manner, it is a perfect example of the industrial chic style which is booming in popularity right now – and when better to be bang on trend than during Fashion Week? Despite all its character, it is in fact something of a blank canvas, and the team are more than happy to work alongside you to bring your ideas to life in this captivating space, which utilised extensive funding to maximise safety and practicality without sacrificing its gritty charm.

Hinde St. Studios

Hinde St Studios

Like a little slice of Provence in a Georgian townhouse, Hinde St. Studios is a highly flexible event space that also comes as a blank canvas, though that’s not to say it is lacking beauty or individuality in any way whatsoever. Highlights in this wonderful venue include high ceilings with exquisitely ornate detail, original wood floors, fireplaces and plenty of natural lighting. It is the traditional touches that make the space ooze elegance, and the somewhat smaller capacity of just 60 allows you to bring a more personal touch to proceedings if you so desire.
